The City Crossing Winnipeg International Design Competition/2004 was an open single-stage multidisciplinary design competition initiated by The City of Winnipeg. The site for City Crossing is a four-block area defined by the intersection of Portage Avenue and Main Street. (Portage Avenue and Main Street are referred to in the Brief as Portage and Main.) The site includes the intersection at ground level as well as the concourse level below grade.
