The former home of Canadian financier Sir Henry Pellatt, Canada's foremost castle-style residence is complete with decorated suites, secret passages, an 800-foot tunnel, towers, stables, and 5-acre estate gardens. It was constructed bewteen 1911 and 1914 by noted architect E.J. Lennox. Three hundred men were employed to complete the task at a cost of one and a half million dollars at the time.
