The Ontario Association of Architects (OAA) is pleased to announce its 2008 President, Sean O'Reilly, OAA, MRAIC. O'Reilly was elected to OAA Council in 2005, and served as Senior Vice President and Treasurer (2006, 2007) and the Chair of PCS Oversight Committee, Practice Advisory Task Group, Practice Review Committee, and the Audit Committee. He has also served on the Bill 124 Task Group, the new Architects Registration Exam (ExAC), Fees and Services Task Group, and the OAA Building Committee.

O'Reilly is a Board Member of the Ontario Association for Applied Architectural Sciences (OAAAS), the Ontario Association of Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologists (OACETT) and former Board Member of Pro-Demnity Insurance Company. From 2005-06 he served as President of the Rotary Club of Alliston.

As the principal of 3 stones architecture + design based in Lisle, Ontario, he has led the firm on a wide variety of commercial, retail, institutional and residential projects throughout central and southern Ontario. O'Reilly received his Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Waterloo in 1986, having completed his Bachelor of Environmental Science from the University of Waterloo in 1983.

The Ontario Association of Architects is a self-regulating, self-governing profession under the Architects Act. The association governs its members and regulates the practice of architecture in Ontario in order that the public interest may be served and protected. As part of its regulatory mandate, the Association delivers a wide range of programs and services to its members and the public.
