Love of culture reflected in veteran builder's sites

Toronto Star

A quick peek through the half-drawn curtains of home builder Murray Goldman's Forest Hill residence lets slip more about the man's philosophy on construction than any sales sheets, brochure or website ever will. For a brick and mortar guy who has built on many of Toronto's blue chip sites, this is a lifestyle where culture rules. There is nary a computer in sight. There is, however, a well-used viola leaning against the cushioned ottoman, a violin lies on the couch nearby. It's tough to make out the colour of the walls because the owner appears to have been influenced by the style of the old French salons.
