Anyone can talk the talk. And, on a good day, most of us can walk the walk. But to do both -- to provide detailed commentary on the move -- that is a different matter altogether. "There will be a quiz on Langley, Langley and Burke at the end of the walk," says a smiling Regina Virgo, referring to a prominent Toronto architecture firm responsible for many of the city's historic buildings. Virgo is volunteer guide with ROM Walk, an outreach program of the Royal Ontario Museum that sponsors outdoor strolling tours among celebrated and architecturally noteworthy neighbourhoods. This evening she's leading a group of 20 or so neck-craners along Jarvis Street, a city zone once posh, but now much less so.
