War Museum, Donnelly Centre up for British architecture prize

CBC

Two Canadian buildings and one in South Africa have been shortlisted for a new architecture prize being given by the Royal Institute of British Architects. The new Canadian War Museum in Ottawa and the Terrence Donnelly Centre on the University of Toronto campus were chosen from among 10 buildings around the world for the inaugural Lubetkin Prize. The prize is named for Berthold Lubetkin, a Georgian-born architect who came to London in the 1930s and established the influential Tecton Group.
