Last week was one of architectural mixed emotions for me. As a lover of Canadian modern architecture, I watched in horror as Peter Dickinson's landmark Inn on the Park at Leslie Street and Eglinton Avenue came crashing down the day before North York community council was to vote on bestowing heritage status upon it.
