I'll give a Pugly to the dialogue

I voted in the Pugly Awards, a Web-based contest to identify and excoriate ugly new buildings in Toronto, but wasn't able to register a single "thumbs down" against any of the dozen or so candidates on the website. Even the ordinary buildings seemed fine to me. In any case, I couldn't bring myself to judge whole buildings based on a few second-rate snapshots, so I gave them all the benefit of the doubt.

Due to circumstances beyond our control, the original story which was a working link at the time of publication may be no longer available on the newspaper site. In that case, the dates and headline of the story will allow you to research the original through your local library. In addition, some newspaper sites may require registration, either at a cost or free.
