Vancouver Art Gallery mounts Arthur Erickson retrospective

Architect Arthur Erickson is the subject of a career retrospective exhibition at the Vancouver Art Gallery from May 27 to Sept. 10. Arthur Erickson: Critical Works will highlight 12 major projects by the Vancouver-born architect from the last 40 years through photos, architectural drawings, models and films. "The chief aim of this exhibition is to recreate the visceral experience generated when entering one of Erickson's buildings," said curator Nicholas Olsberg, former director of the Canadian Centre of Architecture.
