Project to commemorate Jewish war vets

A groundbreaking ceremony was held in Toronto on Sunday for a memorial in to Canada's Jewish war veterans. Flames of Memory is designed by architect Daniel Libeskind. It will be located at the corner of Bathurst Street and Sheppard Avenue West in Earl Bales Park. The memorial will consist of an amphitheatre with a stage that's surrounded by a sweeping, menorah-inspired backdrop.
