Towers' architect asked to alter plan
A plan to change the downtown skyline by adding two buildings on either side of the Calgary Tower will have to wait at least another month. Members of the city's planning commission referred the issue to Sept. 22, and have asked the buildings' architect to consider altering part of his design. City planners previously recommended approval of the plan by Gibbs Gage Architects on behalf of Toronto-based KingStreet Capital Partners.
