Architect Jerome Markson should be careful when playing the "dead-celebrity dinner game" at his weekend home north of Uxbridge. You know the game -- if you could have anyone over for dinner, who would it be? Mr. Markson, a 1953 University of Toronto graduate and one of this city's original and best modern architects, would be ill-advised to invite the ultradogmatic German architect Ludwig Mies van der Rohe or his Toronto disciple, John C. Parkin.
