Nearly everyone who has spent time in Victoria knows the imposing grey stone building that stands at the southwest corner of Government and Yates streets. What most people don't know is that its architect was Percy Leonard James, who started designing the five-storey Victoria Federal Building and Post Office when he was pushing 70.
