In a radical shift, the Royal Ontario Museum's new focus will be on the object, not on the razzle-dazzle That means double the artifacts, simpler displays and the opportunity for visitors to think for themselves They call it Renaissance ROM, but revolution might be a better word. Once the $211 million rebuilding program is complete, the Royal Ontario Museum will be a different place inside and out, physically and intellectually.
