Jerusalem Post

When Moshe Safdie schedules an appointment these days, he has to make sure he doesn't show up in the wrong country. Spread open on his desk in his Jerusalem office on a recent Friday, the calendar of the Israeli-born, Boston-based superstar architect details an itinerary that whisks him off to India the following Sunday, then back to Boston, to Los Angeles, back to Israel, and off again to the United States for a meeting in Georgia. "In terms of the scope of work I am doing and the response I am getting, this is one of most productive periods in my professional life," the 67-year old Safdie says during a brief interlude in the series of inauguration ceremonies for the new Yad Vashem, which officially opened on March 15.
