There are few strong examples of international-style homes in this city, so perhaps our lack of familiarity with the clean, contemporary, open concepts of the movement explain why Sarah Richardson and Alexander Younger's home languished unloved on the market so long. Ms. Richardson, the popular TV design-show host, and Mr. Younger stumbled on the house four years ago in Rosedale. It is located on a cul-de-sac, one of four houses built in the 1960s after a mansion was torn down and its hillside lot divided up.
