CBC Life and Times episode on architect wins award at New York Festivals
The Life and Times of Arthur Erickson, an episode of the CBC-TV biography series, has won a gold medal at the 2005 New York Festivals' international film and video awards. The documentary was produced by Vancouver-based Dilemma Productions and aired on CBC last February. It is a portrait of one of Canada's greatest architects, responsible for the design of, among other structures, Toronto's Roy Thomson Hall and the Canadian Embassy in Washington.
