Decision to relocate VAG gets deadline extension
Vancouverites will have to wait several more months before learning whether the Vancouver Art Gallery will remain at its Georgia Street site or relocate. The VAG's master planning committee, working with Michael Maltzan Architecture Inc. of Los Angeles, was asked to deliver its report to the gallery's board of trustees by the end of December, when an option to expand into provincially owned office space beneath the adjacent Robson Square was set to expire. That deadline has been extended to June 5.
