One architect's entirely modern take on Toronto
Look anywhere in downtown Toronto these days and you're likely to find a residential tower by Peter Clewes punching toward the clouds. On the once-dingy east side, Spire is going up next to St. James' Cathedral, and, a stone's throw away, there's the first phase of Radio City. On the west side, there are the tall buildings in the huge Concord City Place development at the foot of Spadina Avenue, and, at the top that street, yet more skyscrapers in Yorkville and the University of Toronto.
