Release plans for Hill building

Ottawa Citizen

Architects who participated in a $1.5-million architectural competition for a new building on Parliament Hill are calling on the federal government to show the public their designs. "This design competition is one of the greatest architectural design undertakings in recent years," said David Jefferies, of the Zeidler Partnership of Toronto. "The people of Canada put up $1.5 million for five design solutions to Parliament Hill and I think it is time to let them see what they paid for -- even if a final decision has to be deferred."
