Riverfront plan has tremendous potential
The riverfront development plan for Saskatoon is deemed to be one of the best opportunities for what planners call Brown Fill — that is land that has been left vacant but holds tremendous potential for a landmark redevelopment. This map describes the area that is to be developed — stretching from the Victoria Street Bridge on the east to Avenue C in Riversdale. The project is meant to connect the south end of downtown with the riverfront in Riversdale and will include a mix of uses for public and private development.
