The Canadian Centre for Architecture announced today that Nicholas Olsberg, Director of the CCA, has decided to retire after 15 years of ground-breaking service with the CCA. On an interim basis, Phyllis Lambert, CCA Founder and Chair of the Board of Trustees, will assume the directorship while the Centre seeks a successor. Dr. Olsberg’s retirement will take effect 30 April. “I have been deferring my retirement plans for some time,” said Dr. Olsberg, “but I feel that the time is now right as we have just completed a three-year plan for the CCA’s future development. It has been a privilege and a pleasure to have worked closely over the past 15 years with Phyllis and the professional team of the CCA and with the architectural community around the world.”
