Say what you like about people who live in glass houses, but Vancouver architect James Cheng's clients certainly aren't throwing any stones. Their 6,000-square-foot glass and concrete abode on the outskirts of Vancouver is a marvel of postmodern perfection. Throwing convention out the window, Cheng designed a modern, serene, but playful home, complete with indoor koi pond, atrium, 30-foot floor-to-ceiling windows, and no interior walls, save for a zinc column hiding two washrooms. It's sort of like living in a fish bowl.
