Illustrious architect Frank Gehry returned to his hometown today to unveil his planned redesign of the Art Gallery of Ontario in the same neighbourhood where he grew up. "When I was eight years old, I think, my mother brought me to this room and introduced me to art," a beaming Gehry, 74, told dignitaries and media on hand for the first public glimpse of his much anticipated design. "So being in this room for this event is quite nostalgic and nostalgia-driven."
