Visitors to this week's unveiling of Frank Gehry's much-anticipated redesign of Toronto's Art Gallery of Ontario will find themselves on the receiving end of a protest against the planned $190-million renovation and expansion. Ceta Ramkhalawansingh, an activist who fought against the AGO's last major renovation of more than a decade ago, said community groups based around the Queen Street West-University of Toronto-Chinatown area plan to show up in front of the AGO's Dundas West entrance tomorrow morning before the Toronto-born, California-based superstar architect hosts a press conference presenting his model for the redesigned gallery.
