They're known simply as W, X, Y and Z — four miniature models made of plastic and paper complete with tiny cars and trees — one of which is to be the design for the City of Vaughan's new home.n Council this week unveiled models of four proposals for its new headquarters, to be built on the 10-hectare site of the existing civic centre in Maple. Twenty-four firms had shown an interest in designing the 30,000-square-metre complex. Construction costs have been pegged at $76 million, with another $20 million for furnishings and moving expenses.
