New dean of architecture and design named at U of T

The University of Toronto has named award-winning architect and educator George Baird its new dean of Architecture, Landscape and Design. The four-year appointment begins July 1. Now the G. Ware Travelstead Professor of Architecture at Harvard's Graduate School of Design, Baird is a partner in Toronto-based Baird Sampson Neuert Architects Inc.
