If Pearson Airport's new Terminal 1 is any indication, Toronto may finally have arrived. Though some might say it's a little late, given the declining fortunes of Canada's airlines, better late than never. The $4.4-billion terminal doesn't open until April, but already it's clear this is more than a just another warehouse for passengers. True, the Golden Age of Travel is long gone, but there are few places better suited to the needs of those who find themselves having to hurry up and wait.
