500 architects want to build rights museum in Winnipeg

The Ottawa Citizen

About 500 architects from around the world are interested in designing Winnipeg's $270-million Museum for Canadian Human Rights. The 240,000-square-foot project is to be located at The Forks, a national historic site at the junction of the Red and Assiniboine rivers. A shortlist of 30 architects is to be announced on Dec. 18.
