Bing Thom wins big U.S. contract

Vancouver's Bing Thom Architects has landed the design of a $100-million US renovation of one of the top theatres in the United States. Selected from more than 100 architectural firms from throughout North and South America, the local architectural firm will be renovating and expanding the Arena Stage in southwest Washington, D.C. The project includes renovating two theatres as well as adding a third theatre and residences for artists.
