Open houses, walking tours and guest speakers highlight a flurry of free public events to celebrate Architecture Week, sponsored by The St. Lawrence Valley Society of Architects an its partners. The events, which run until Saturday, Oct. 4, are designed to reflect on the architectural heritage of Kingston, promote the richness and diversity of its architectural fabric and to increase public awareness of the social importance of architectural design. A free screening of Ray and Charles Eames' film series takes place at 7:30 pm, Tuesday, Sept. 30 in Rm. 1103 at Queen's University's Biosciences Complex.
