This building has been fully converted into retail space and contains many small food and clothing retailers. Formerly the Grand Trunk Pacific Railway Stable Building (1909-12) and the Great Northern Railway Stable Building, they were joined together to form The Forks Market. A viewing tower has been added to the exterior to give a view of the river and of downtown Winnipeg. Externally the building features tall round headed archways at both ends of the building. The double height space created between them has many smaller openings into what was presumably storage space and stable facilities.
