A replica of a windmill built in the town in 1877. The original uilt by Peter K. Barkman for Abraham S. Friesen and cost $2,000 and was used to process feed, flour and for cutting lumber. It was converted to steam in 1879 at a cost of $1,300, then sold and moved to Rosenort, where it was torn down in 1920. This is the second reproduction, the original copy of 1972 was destroyed by arson in 2000.
