The architecturally-unique, 15-story BC Cancer Research Centre is a state-of-the-art facility on West 10th Avenue that is home to eight specialty laboratories and is designed to accommodate up to 600 of Canada's top scientific and medical staff.

The Research Centre has been awarded the prestigious LEED Canada Gold certification. The Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) designation is awarded by the Canada Green Building Council (CaGBC) to leading-edge buildings that incorporate environmentally sustainable design, construction and operational features to reduce the environmental impact.
